Anyone ever tried the glitter glues from Michaels?

Do you know the ones I mean? I'm sorry I forget the brand name. They're sold seperately for 3.99 each. They have tons of colors on the kiddie crafts isle near the fun foam. The bottles didn't say acid free or anything so I passed. Just non-toxic but they have some really pretty colors so I wasn wondering if they were any good. I usually don't like to use stuff unless I know it's not going to degrade my photos over time.

They are very liquid-y and take a little while to dry. If it is the same ones I tried, they were so wet, they wrinkled my paper

My DD got some new Crayola Glitter Glue pens that are pretty thick....but not acid free.

If you are using them for scrapbooking use Stickles. If you are using them for crafts use the Crayola.

I do have Stickles. I actually just ordered more because I really like them and I know everyone is thinking just use Stickles! lol but they don't sell them anywhere near me that I have found yet. There were tons of colors to choose from so I just thought I'd ask but if they're watery I don't want to bother. Watery is not good. I guess I will stick to ordering Stickles online and waiting!

I don't recommend the Micheal's for sbing with.

I think I saw somewhere that Studio G (the ones who make those little stamp sets) are going to have some glitter glues coming out soon. I wonder if they will be similar to Stickles...???

Competition is supposed to be good for the consumers, right?

Oh no, competition with Stickles, we'll have even more threads gpoing!!! LOL!!

We'll be debating which is better.

Nope, they don't even compare. I tried a different brand and it didn't hold its shape like the "good" brand does (there, I got through a whole post without saying Stickles). By the time it had dried, it had ran all outside the lines and ruined my LO!

reg glitter glue is not good for scrapping . it does not set right, it drys flat and goes every where..

I haven't tried stickles. And I'm not familiar with the Crayola or other craft glitter glues.

But I did use glitter fabric paint on a fake flower, and it worked just fine.

    stick with the stickles!
