cricut cartridges

My daughter got me a cricut expression for my birthday. My question is what cartridge cuts out the scrapbook pages like you can buy. I think they are called 12 x 12 die cut frames. You can actully do your whole layout on them. Does any one know what Cartridge does this?

hi pammie, only thing i can think of are the ones with flowers and stars. you can make those big enough for a back ground.

I have done scalloped edges with both Home Accents and Accent essentials. I use the fit to page button.

you can make scallopped circles and squares with the Storybook cart, and if you have an Expression and do FIT TO PAGE, it should make it that size,,,,

Cindy loo has two images at the back of the book that are good to cut that way.

dont forget they wont be 12x12. fit to page is still smaller.

If the pictures are small you can go to the cricut site and they have each cartridge listed with the pictures from the back.
Sometimes you can see projects made with a particular cartridge they are highlighting.

Or go here to the superstore look at the cartridges and see what layouts have been linked to them. It might give you a better idea of its capabilities.

Storybook also can make swirly and pretty backgrounds if you can make them that big. Which I can't with my baby bug. But oh well.

The sports cartridge will cut backgrounds that are almost 12X12. I usually mount them on another sheet. I use a lot of blue and white (school colors).

I feel your pain When I'm at the store and looking, I have to peer over my glasses and hold the cart up to my nose. Mostly, I look at them online and know what cart I want in advance.

Almost all the carts have the option of cutting background shapes...such as brackets, scalloped circles, scalloped squares, or whatever cut you like. I would suggest on going to the circut website and looking at the books you can download for each of the carts. It is the whole book like what comes in the box with the cart. It is amazing how many different options that are out there!
