Last page ideas

Hi I have never posted on here(only just found you) and just hope someone can give me some ideas for my last page!

I've been doing a scrapbook for my friends little girl, with bits of everything from her first year. I asked them to choose the pictures they wanted to go in it, and there is one of me holding the little girl, so I thought for the last page I could have it as a sort of page she could look at when she was older, of the person who put the book together for her. Any ideas???

I am working on a similar one for my cousin's baby and my plans for the last page are to put a picture of the baby on her first birthday and to journal something about my relationship with her and a reflection about her first year.

Thanks I've tried looking for poems, but can not seem to find any that seem right. I've loved doing this scrapbook, it's been my second project and took me ages,i'll post some pictures once its finished.

Hopefully can start my 3rd scrapbook next week, i've just had twin girls, so looking forward to doing that

For me the last page depends on what kind of album it is ...

wedding album: married couple kissing
party album: guest of honor (alone or with me ... there has to be some compensation fo making the album)
family album: group shot of family
kids album: fantastic pic of kid, usually alone
gift album: handwritten "notes" from the family with no picture at all (I did this when I made a heritage album for my Mom ... all the kids and grandkids wrote on the last page)

I think your idea is lovely ... I hope they appreciate the lovely gift you're making for them ...

You could do a list of some sort. Like the tole 12 things about their first year. Or letters to them from the parents or wishes for them.

Hi and welcome toSB.com! I see your twins in avi and they are adorable. My twins (boy girl) are 26 now, my how time flies!

You idea for a last page is great. I'd use the same style you used throughout the book and then the photo of you holding her and I'd write her a letter about how much you enjoyed making this album for her and how much she and her family mean to you.

I might even seal it with a kiss so to speak. Maybe use diecut lips or a sticker and maybe title the page sealed with a kiss or SWAK. She would know you love her and shen she is older she would feel all warm and fuzzy. Kinda gushy I know but its what came to mind.

Welcome jpmum. I like the idea about a picture of you holding her and a letter to her saying how much you enjoyed making the book and how much her family means to you.

Maybe there is a cute story you can "tell her" about her mom's pregancy or delivery.

Sometimes I find a special song a type out the lyrics and use it for a last page. On my Italy book I ended with the lyrics to "That's Amore".

I put it on velum - kind of as a good-by page. I put the velum on pretty patterned paper.

On my first Hawaii book I ended with a page that said, "Mahalo" which is "thank you" which worked really well because I started with a page that said, "Aloha".
