Romantic scrapbook

I'm looking for some advice/help. I want to create a romantic scrapbook for my boyfriend as a gift, I want to write some love letters to put into the scrapbook.
Do I have to buy specific paper?
I have seen a love letter writing set that I would like to buy, is there a way I could preserve it before adding it to my book?
Where could I get romantic writing paper for scrapbooks from?

It depends on how you want to do the scrapbook.
For the letters themselves, you don't need special paper, you just write your letter. Of course it's nice if you can get hold of proper stationary rather than lined legal pads.

For backgrounds you may want to consider some printed papers. There are a lot of nice papers here on scrapbook.com, but I know that the shipping prices can be unattractive to people outside of the US, so you may want to check amazon.

I recommend you to also consider what format you want the scrapbook to be in. If you have no scrapbooking supplies at home it might be cheaper and easier for you to buy a A4 paper pad and use an office binder with regular A4 pockets. Since you wanted something romantic, perhaps the prima "Tales of You and Me" might be an option?

Depending on the amount of pages you think you want for your scrapbook you could also 'bind' your own scrapbook. This playlist has a lot of different binding tutorials.

I just want to create a unique romantic scrapbook, that's all my own creativity.
I've already bought a scrapbook album and some patterned paper for backgrounds and a few stick on bits like buttons and stickers.
I now just want to have the choice to add hand written letters on some pages and I found a perfect set on Amazon but then thought about what I've read on certain sites about scrapbook paper being acid free to preserve it and so wondered if normal paper was safe to use or wheather it would break down over time.

I was hoping to write the letter put in the envelope and attach envelope to scrapbook in such a way to open and pull letter out and put back in

I think that as long as you don't have photos in the same place it should be ok.
I have never really cared about acid and lignin, but the stuff that I've made 20 years ago is still ok.
