Cancer themes or products

I was wondering if anyone knows of any cancer survivor themes or stickers? I am trying to make a scrapbook for my son who is a cancer survivor, but it is really hard to find anything like that. I see you have, as most places only have, a few breast cancer themes, but that doesn't apply to my son's cancer. I have tried many places, and the most I can get is bandages and needles and doctors and such, but nothing really for childhood cancer survivors Thank you.

I'll have to say, Ive seen none. There is a very nice stamp set that has basic words - such as hope, survivor & such but it's geared towards breast cancer also.

Maybe pick a super hero, and incorporate stamping of words you might have? Even the breast cancer stuff is minimal ... your best to use your imagination. Sorry to say that but ecstatic to hear he's survived!!

I love the Super Hero idea. You could add a ribbon to his pages in the appropriate colour for his particular condition. You don't say how old your son is, but the colour for general childhood cancer is gold, which is useful - goes with the Super Hero theme.

Simon Says Stamp have some cancer survivor and cancer fighting stamps that might be suitable. And a stamp of the ribbon could be done in any colour, of course.

If he lost his hair, you could do a paper pieced doll with no hair, or a hat.

How much do you want to concentrate on its being cancer though? I would be tempted to scrap your son's journey, his achievements, his favourite things, his medical staff - with plenty of journalling and maybe just the ribbon on each page in a different format. You could do a real ribbon, rik-rak, baker's twine, patterned paper, you could stamp it, or make the shape out of gems or brads or eyelets.

Any of that any use?

Creative Memories had a punch that was ribbon shaped. ..discontinued of course but can be found on online auctions. ..idk if anyone else made one.

Great tips listed here. Stamps can be used for any cancer if you stamp the color that goes with the type of Cancer your son had and some of the sayings should work as well. How about making your own paper and stamp you on phrases on your paper.
