Seasoning stamps made from Silhouette's stamp material

I have a question about getting the Silhouette stamping material to stamp properly. Has anyone tried this and had difficulty? I find that the ink beads up a lot on the material. I have tried both pigment ink and dye ink. I would also like to "season" the stamp but the material is already so thin....... any ideas?

Could be the stamp needs to be 'roughened' a bit. Have you tried lightly rubbing it with an eraser?

I have tried to use a nail file but not an eraser. I will try that as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

Another group i am in suggested that you stamp versa mark on your clear stamps before using them. Then the ink colors wont bead up so much. I have not tried it but plan to.

Thanks for the suggestions! I tried the eraser trick but it didn't work. I will go back and try the Versamark trick.
