What do YOU use Acetate for?

I recently bought a few sheets of acetate and am wondering what exactly you use them for? I have seen people use them for making delicate die cuts a little sturdier {sp?}, but am at a loss as to what else to do with it... any helpful suggestions are {greatly} appreciated!

I love using it for making die cuts (not backing other materials), then coloring them with alcohol inks or copic markers.

They're also fun to make mini books with - use them as the covers and the pages.

You can make cards and gift tags with them, too.

I love playing with alcohol inks and acetate. You can make it look like marbled glass or even just straight color looks good, too.

You can stamp on it using Stazon ink

I save almost all of my plastic packaging to work with.

If it's the printable kind, I know a lot of people print their titles on to it and layer it over their layouts.

I use the thin acetate packaging that goodies come in. I use it to make shaker boxes cheaply!

Oh thank you ladies! @Kim- Alcohol inks...another reason to love them! @Kimmi, thank you...you know, I am not sure if I bought the printable kind...will check it out and @Gina, I never thought about using those packages! I LOVE it when I can 'upcycle'

Oh great...just what I need is something else to make room for! I'm now digging out the clear boxes from my morning's M's haul that I had just thrown away. Wait till my hubby finds out I'm now keeping "trash" too~

I have used them to make shaker boxes or on a card that has a window.

Journal on them. Especially when space for journaling on your page is tight.

I like upcycling my packaging too and making tags out of it.

Oh Amy, that tag is fantastic!!! I think you are the one who turned me onto Prickley Pear...thanks for that! haha! ...Every time I see that cat, ugh - LOVE IT!...I am just going to buy it.
