Fiskars Stamp Press thingy

Ok, I don't know if anyone knows what I'm talking about but I just purchased one of these and I must say....I LOVE IT!!!

I also purchased some of Fiskars clear word stamps which I didn't realize they made.

It's strange. I go into the Base Exchange and their scrapbooking stuff was always very minimal. They did have Xyron stuff in there but the other day my DD and I were standing there and I went.....Wow, punches, the stamp press, clear stamps, WOW!!!!!!! And the prices are SO much better than at Ms or any place else I've shopped.

But, back to the topic, has anyone used this? I don't think I'm ever going to use the blocks again.

I don't have one but I want one! (I tried one at Archiver's during a class not too long ago.) It seems really easy to use.

Did you get extra plates for the press, Michele? If not, do! It's great for doing multiple of same card design or having words on one place and something else on another. They just pop out and snap back in.

I've used it and LOVE it! It's on my Christmas list.

I really like mine too! I have a hard time lining stuff up straight and this takes the guesswork out of it.

My favorite part of it is that being the klutz that I am, even with clear blocks, I'll "drop" the stamp before I'm really ready to. So with the press, I can position it exactly where I want without any danger of droppage.

    Sarah, love your avi.

Wow, didn't see any extra plates there. I will have to check into that. I love this thing. I understand the klutz thing, too, Viv. I've dropped those blocks more times than I really care to admit.

I have it, but have yet to use it! Now I'm more anxious to use it since all of the great feedback!

what is really nice, you can place your stamps un-inked on you paper, place the plate over the paper, and pull down and pick up the stamps on the plate. Ink the stamps, realign the plate, and push down and you will stamp right where you want the stamps without a problems. Need to practice this to find out the correct way to do it, but it doesn't take long to learn to do it this way. And if you have problems with any of Fiskars products, they will replace them without any problems

That's good to know. I've looked at this at my LSS a few times but wasn't sure how well it would work.

I ussed one of these things last Saturday at my Scrapper Sorority group. If I was a stamper, I would HAVE to one of these!!

I have the small and large one. I use the small one when I stamp.
