Anyone have a substitute for an embossing tool??

Hi Guys,
So no such luck finding just one of those two ended embossing tools. Does anyone have any tricks for doing embossing without that tool?!

A ball point pen will work. If you can, take out the ink from the pen first, or you will end up with pen marks on the back of your paper. I have also used a toothpick in a pinch. You have to be really careful with this one so that you don't poke a hole in your paper.

Maybe a stylus from a PDA? I'm not sure, I never dry embossed. But I use a stylus to rub on rub-on letters.

a paper clip works okay....the cap from a ball point pen...

I have use the ball point too, I used one that the ink had run out of and just left the tip in.

A crochet hook or knitting needle would work.
