I often read how important and VersaMark ink pad is to crafting/scrapping and how versitile it is. My only question is........if I understand correctly the ink is transparent, so what do you do with it??? I'm new to scrapping so be easy.

It leaves a watermark. It also is slow-drying, so you can use it with embossing powders (fun!) or even chalk over the wet image. The majority of the chalk will stick to the ink and will leave a really neat image.

I am wondering the same thing. Would using my heat tool on it afterwards "set" the ink?
I don't know what happened for you guys. I didn't heat set or anything. I wish I could tell you what went wrong...
