This is the most amazing tool. If you want to throw away your craft knife and make amazing titles, paper piecings then this tool is for you. I don't even use my QuicKutz die cuts as much. Its simple to use its only $20.00!!!!!!!
Tools that you'll need: old cookie sheet, cardstock, repositionable adhesive, and your templet. Thats ALL.
I like to print out my title or paper piecing first. Put your cardstock down on the cookie sheet run some adhesive over it (just in the area that your templet will be) you can rub off the adhesive later. Turn on the engraver to about 2.5 or 3 and slowly trace the templet. You may want to practice on some scraps at first to get the hang of it. Go slow and if you feel the tool drag just go in another direction. The thicker the cardstock the slower you want to go. Don't forget to hold down your project with one hand. Just take your time and you will have a title that will look like a die cut.
I've posted a layout in the gallery that I did with my engraver its called Savannah.
The engraver can be purchased at lowes, home depot or any hardware store.
Thanks and happy engraving
