I scrap my Polariods in a separate album. Since you should never crop a Polaroid, because the chemicals inside could damage your other photos I just scrap them in a separate album altogether. To cover the white portion surrounding the photo I have used stickers, border stickers, punchout frames (like those from HOTP/Paper Pizazz), and frames made using my Paper Trimmer. After you frame the photo that little space extra at the bottom is great for journaling. When I want to include a Polaraid in with my traditional photos I usually take it the the Kodak Picture Maker Kiosk, I suppose that you could also use online services such as Ofoto, Shutterfly, etc to make prints as well but I find that Dodak kiosk does a nice job. They also have "frames" that will print on your final project as well.
Actually, you *can* crop a Polaroid, as long as you don't cut through the white "pocket" at the bottom. For years all my mom used was Poloaroids, so I had quite the collection. I've carefully trimmed it off of the bottom of them, and haven't had a single problem. Some of them I cropped almost 10 years ago, with no bad results. Hope this helps!
Wow, I didn't know that you could crop Polaroids, thanks Leslie. Does anyone else have some they've cropped and had no bad results with? If so, please let me know. The ways to dress up Polaroids thus far are very limited. Somebody please come up with a product to help us scrappers out with this!!!!!!
