HELP!!! CRICUT WON'T TURN ON!!!

ok the other day I was using my cricut and turned it off but left it plugged in. I just went to use it and it won't turn on!!! It is receiving power because the light on the power box thing is on. HELP!

eeek - not sure what to tell you other than I've heard their customer service is excellent? maybe try contacting them, or heading over to the cricut website? pm me if you need the web address!

Have you tried hitting it with your fist?
Or maybe an eyelet hammer?

did you try many times..sometimes mine is a bit weird like that too and I have to press the button a few times..I still love it though!

Customer Service gets my vote too!! I am always amazed at how great many of the cutomer service departments are at the scrapbooking companies!!

Have you tried to unplug it first and wait a minute or two, then plug it in again?

yup i left it unplugged for a few minutes but maybe longer would help. off to find the #

Did you put the cartridge in BEFORE turning it on???

check to make sure the plug from the power cord is fully plugged into the back of the cricut. it may have just come loose.
their customer service is great....if you can't figure it out definately call them.

they really are great, it was still covered by my warranty and they're sending me a new one!

I am glad they have a great customer service department, but this is the 5th Cricut I have heard of that has had to be replaced.( I only know 8 people who have them) Most of them within the first couple of months of purchase.

Are they still working out the kinks in the machine/prgraming? Or is this just typical for this machine?

They are sending me a return label for the old machine.

She didn't really know why it wasn't working and she said usually if it does that it is a new machine but i had had mine for a while. don't know!

They sending you a new one and then you have to send the other one back? or visa versa? What great customer service is that!!!

It's good to know that they helped, and helped without hasseling you. Sounds like great customer service to me (it's also reassuring incase I ever need to contact them).

I leave mine plugged in but off all the time. I have never had any problems with it. Maybe I'll go unplug it now:)
