Clear Cut Shapes

Recently I picked up a pack of Deja Views C-Thru Clear Cuts. They are transparent die cut shapes. I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to adhere them to my LO.

It says on the package "Tip: Remove protective film sleeve before using Clear Cut Shapes" I feel incredibly stupid, but unless they're referring to the entire package sleeve I'm lost. They don't appear to have a protective film over/under them - nothing to peel off.

On some of them I'm using a clear glue and because of the printing you can't see the glue. I tried my Xyron, but it doesn't stick to the acrylic die cut. Anybody have any suggestions?

I've never seen these specific items.
I have some clear Making Memories flowers that are self-adhesive. It is very hard to peel the backing off. For a long time, I didn't realize they had adhesive!

This is off topic, but it reminded me of something funny that happened to me and I thought I'd share (so if you find there really is a clear backing you will see that you are NOT alone). My GYN prescribed a hormone patch for me called Vivelle Dot. The package said to peel off the backing (the patch was clear) and when I peeled off the backing there was no DOT. I kept looking for a small round thing, like a DOT. Nope, it was the whole thing, a bandaid shaped clear piece of plastic. I went to the doctor and asked him to show me the DOT and he and I had a very good laugh over the fact that I was looking for a DOT just because of the name. So.... keep looking for your plastic backing, either its there or they are self adhesive.

I hope you get an answer to this - because now I'm curious. . .

LOL - okay, I went at them with a x-acto knife and sure enough there is a VERY thin layer of plastic on the back. When I finally was able to pull that away, I put the Clear Cut through my Xyron without any problems. Guess it pays to have someone tell you to just stick with it!
