Cropper Hopper 12X12 rolling paper cart

Does anyone have any comments regarding the Cropper Hopper 12X12 rolling workstation. I see them at Michaels for $90.00 and I am not sure I want to buy it or not. I need something to hold my paper, I would like something that fits under my desk that I can roll out and I thought this might be the perfect thing, but I would like some input. I tried searching online for reviews but I have had no luck finding any...

I don't have one of these myself, but I have the Cropper Hopper vertical storage, but if you're looking for something to roll in and out from under your desk, this sounds like it would be ideal for you. I haven't heard any kind of reviews about it myself either. The only thing I would be concerned about would be the possibility of it curving or curling as what sometimes happens with hanging files... but I'm not sure if that has happen with this particular item. Hope someone can offer you a little more insight on the curving thing.

I am flirting with this as we speak. I found it on the Joann's site for under $50. It seems ideal for my storage, well lack of storage problem.

I have one, if it's the same as what you are looking at, the box part actually sits on a frame with wheels and you can lift the box out and take it with you. I only have 8 1/2 x 11 papers in it but it is definitely deep enough for 12 x 12, I need to get some 12 x 12 hanging folders to put in it. It's great, it can hold everything I would need to go to a crop or something. The wheels are a little hard to roll on the carpet with a full box but that's easily remedied if you have a desk mat under it or something like that. I got mine a few years ago at Michaels with one of their 40% off Coupon s. I think it's a great idea and it fits nicely under my scrap table.

The one that Joanne's has is not the one I have, mine actually has lids on top, and everthing is enclosed inside, there is an open shelf under the box to put stuff but it stays on the cart if you take the box with you to go.

Mine measures 22" to the top, keep in mind, mine is about 5 years old and it is slightly different, the lid is in two parts connected in the middle and opens on either side, the rest is the same. The newer models dimentions may be slightly different.

I always look at the reviews at joanns before buying something.

It is a really neat tool though, it has lots of storage and the little shelf and the trays really come in handy.

I just bought one of these (from M's in fact). I really like it. It is quite sturdy. Of course I am lucky enough not to have carpet to deal with. I could imagine that it could get kind of difficult to work with that way. Anyway, I did want to point out that mine measures a little bit over 25 inches tall but it still rolls under my desk.

Thanks for the reply, I too am concerned about the curving of the paper. I hate to spend money and not be happy with what I bought, especially when it is kind of pricey.

I looked at this one, but I figured it wouldn't roll under my desk. I am actually looking at the other one that Cropper Hopper makes, it has a list and hanging file folders for your paper...you will have to let me know if you get this one, I would get this one if I had room, but I don't...

Thanks for the comment and measurements. I got antsy and went out and bought, not even thinking about measuring. It fits under one of my tables, but not the one I really wanted it to, but that is okay. As for the carpet, I didn't think about that either, but luckily I have tile. I was thinking about getting an arial rug, but that will have to be a no-go with the rollers.

I like mine, but I find that if I can't see the paper out I either forget I have it or use the last sheet and need it for another project. It's great because it rolls around and I can put it in my closet and the lid closes so no dust gets on it. I like the wire rack on the bottom because I can put my binder that has all my templates on it. My sis and I used our 40% off Coupon one month and got it Michaels.
