scrapbook stores in Omaha?

Good Morning everyone,

tomorrow, I head to Omaha, NE to visit my son for 5 days. My son knows that I have an addition to scrapbooking, and has volunteered to take me to a couple stores, and actually go in them with me :smile :! Unlike my husband who just looks at me and says take me home first (I haven't quite figured out why, since I think its a wonderful way to spend an evening!)

So that we can make the best use of our little scrapbook store tour, can you any of you recommend scrapbook store s, that I should visit.

Just got home from there....here's whats there.

Yesterdays on Maple St. (NW side of town-the best of the little stores)

There's a store in Millard like 129th and Q

And there's one on 72nd across from the Mart

in addition there is an archivers in Village Point

plus a Hobby Lobby in Millard

Hi Cassie - There are a few local run stores in Omaha - my personal favorite is YESTERDAYS 402-934-5183 on 129th & Maple - my good friend Nancy owns it so be sure and say hello from sb.com (she knows I'm an addict here) - there is another LSS in Millard - SCRAPBOOK CENTRAL on 136th off of Q. street 402-896-3244.

There is an Archivers in Village Point 168th & Dodge and several Michaels - one at 144th & Maple and 132nd & Center.

Several Hobby Lobby's one at 90th between Maple/Blondo and another in Millard I think on 132nd or 144th & Q.

Can you tell I get around?

Actually from Colorado - you will be traveling east and there are alot of cool stores in Lincoln - an hour west of Omaha - we kid around alot we need to take a road trip there - they have alot more than Omaha but not sure of the locations - I know one is names SCRAP YOUR HEART OUT ~

p.s. I forgot there is another one on 72nd between Dodge & Center across the street from Nebraska Furniture Mart in a strip mall back in the corner by Stover Candy - it is a really nice store too. Not sure of the name.

I'm so excited; I always tell my kids their Mom is very easy to please; just take her to the nearest scrapbook store &/or fabric store

I'm printing this topic, and putting it in my purse. (God forbid, I should stick it in my suitcase, and I get there w/o my bags! or worse yet I can't get access to the internet!)
