Wedding guest book page

I am making a scrapbook for a friends wedding. She wanted me to create a page for her guest to sign instead of the traditional book. I am going to put an engagement picture in the center but what else should it have? Does anyone have a sample I could see?

I've seen this done. At an event the planner used a clip ring binder a very small elegant one. And on the first page she had a photo and a lovely message and inside she printed beautiful quotes about love and life on every page. It was truly tear jerking in the sweetest way.

And if people forget to sign as they do then you take out the spare pages. And present it to her as a perfect little scrapped album of her day.

I did something of that sort for my nephew's graduation. I think keeping it pretty simple is a good idea. On mine I did add a ready made frame - and especially wanted a strip of paper going down the middle to separate columns. But you really could just put a photo on a colored mat and add something to the corners (or not) for a little extra interest. I would recommend lined paper if possible though because it is so much easier. You could either number by hand (as I did for simplicity purposes) or use stickers or rub ons or the like for a more uniform/elegant look that you may be going for for the wedding. HTH.

her colors were pink, purple and blue -- in the white squares on the pages, I added pictures I took of the wedding that morning so by the reception that night, she already had photos of her big day
I got all my supplies at Michaels, and I let her pick the paper and embellies out herself, and then I made the book up for her

I made one for my wedding instead of using a guest book. I used 12x12 pages. each had an engagement picture on it--matted. no embellishments before the guests signed --that way space was not limited. Once everyone signed the pages I added embellishments to the pages where there was room.

Yes, I was going to add that the only problem with mounting the photo right in the middle is that it might cut down on writing space for the guests. Just something to think about.

My daughter made her own guest sign-in sheets. I am totally new to here so i'm not sure how share. The document is actually just a Word doc.
