Paper Crimpers Dollar Tree Store

Interesting thing that I found 6 types of Paper Crimper at Dollar Tree Store.

It's strange because I can tell it is small than what it said on front of "package" It said 6" but I measured it it was like almost 4 1/2 inches wide. (size of paper to go in)

In past I bought file for letter size but it didn't fit.. it was like for 8x10... sometimes package label said wrong. That is why I decided to measure it before buy... anyway.. I buy all 6 crimpers. Line, heart, star, bear, flower and "heart" with "s" wave (not know what to call it)

I saw those last week at my DT. I thought "Wow, how great!" I picked up a couple and they wouldn't crank/turn. So I put them back.

Have you tried any paper in yours?

Yeah.... I did test them at store-- some didn't turn... some with knot fell off... strange... I did test them with paper at home... one is weak...

I have learned to test the scrapbook tools before I buy, even though they are only $1. It is a pain to have to return to get one that works.

I have gotten little punches that work so well, and then got one that wouldn't cut through the paper and had to return it.

Their stuff can be really good for the money, but the quality control is not there for only $1.

It is still one of my best bargain scrapbook store s.

I bought punchers and embossers there that didn't work, worked erratically, or fell apart. I would be leery of getting their scrapbooking stuff.

Well, it's a Dollar store. Of course their stuff isn't going to be high quality. You get what you pay for right? LOL I buy stuff there expecting it to not last and/or be of low quality.

I haven't been there in a while. I'll have to go look see this weekend.
