Hi! I have some great pictures from a 70's Bday Party but don't know how to start them. Any ideas??? Thank you!!!

Well depending on what activities you did you could get clip art of disco related stuff...or if you all focused on earlier 70's well tie dye was pretty popular!
And don't forget Avocado and bright orange and Harvest gold as colors!

oooh - that is depressing to even think about what a fashion vacuum the 70's were!
I don't know how we survived!

To start the album you cold look up to date and see what happened on the day the person was born. You could detail the price of stuff and then you could launch into the party photos. This way most of the journaling will be take care of except for the who in the photos.The other thing that would be grand is if you could get photos of the person as they grew up.

there were some great 60s/70s themed collections that came out earlier this summer, I've linked one item each from a few of them. maybe one of these would work for you,

You could also add some of the phrases or sayings during that time. You could write them on the layouts or you could make a pg just about the phrases & what they meant.
You could also take the lyrics of a 70s song and write them around the edge of your layout. (You could use one of the persons fav song from then) Or you could make them in a journal box as a page element.
I think someone said to use clip art from the 70s. I know I have seen stickers that have various things from the 70s. Maybe they have them here. You could use a disco ball as a decoration at the top of the page.

this lo may be an idea for you. the girls had retro shirts on and i found that retro floral paper at joannes. i did the titling from my cricut and then placed it the way i have it because it was fun, what i think really made the page was the way the flowers turned out. find a good retro flower punch and you can't go wrong!

There are quite a few fonts available on the net that are total 70's feel. If you dont have the ability to cut from the net, you could always print with it and cut them out.
