pages warping! help??

I used too much glue from a glue stick on pages and now the pages are warping!! what can i do to flatten them??

You may be able to flatten them in an album or put them under heavy books...I'm not a fan of glue sticks as an adhesive, personally. I like to use a Zig Pen and/or ATG.

Heavy books is all I can think of too. I don't use glue sticks for that reason, and I'm not sure how long they will last, even if they say archival safe.

I use ATG like Deb and for fussy cutting and thin letters I use the Zig in a small point for small areas. And for stubborn things that I want to have extra sticking power, I go for the glue dots in the box - don't like the ones on the roll.

i'd put it in a page protector and then place it on a hard surface with books stacked on top. i don't use glue sticks anymore either. i have some earlier pages where i did use them (back in 1999) and they made the cardstock discolor or they lost their adhesiveness. i have way too many different adhesives that i use but i have them for really specific uses.

I love using the glue pen but I have found that too much glue and it will wrinkle. But this one has an end that allows a tiny amount of glue and if you are careful you will have a good result. Tape is best to avoid wrinkles.

If the lo is not too bulky you kan put it between two towels and iron it. Not too hot though! That has helped me sometimes.

STEP AWAY FROM THE GLUE STICK!!!

Not worth the trouble. It WILL fail; your pages WILL fall apart; and quickly!!! Do not use glue stick on your scrapbook pages.

If you must, keep the glue sticks for other projects, like cards, that are usually not kept for years.

Good advice above to flatten page. Depends on what embellishments you have on your page.
