Is my cuttlebug supposed to do this?

I used my cuttlebug for the first time today and the top B plate is bent and has the cuts etched into it from my cuttlebug die cuts. Is this supposed to happen or am I doing something wrong?

Yup. That's what happens. Eventually you need to replace that plate to continue to get good cuts.

i was wonderfing the same things cause mine does this to, it also makes a cracking nose like something is breaking while I roll it through.

I find flipping the B plate upside down on alternate cuts prevents it from warping too much.

Yes, unfortunately you'll need to buy the replacement plates quite frequently. I was really surprised at how quickly they bent and scratched. Try to flip them over regularly to wear equally on all sides.
