Yep, I tried it in a search and nothing shows up. If it's for real, google and bing don't know about it Definitely didn't try the link! Poor Megan...never gets a weekend off it seems.
As I mentioned in the first post of this thread, it is a NEW website, which is why it might not appear as the first result in search engines. Regardless, when I goggled "goonka" the site came up first for me, so I'm not sure why you don't see it. Googling "goonka.com" might make it easier to find.
Just think igbook if someone came to your site and anounced they had a great new site and then everybody left your site. You might not be to happy about it. thus the rule here.
I do wish you the best with your site and suggest that maybe you had your link to your signature area and stick around here and get to know everyone and in time people may click on your link to see what it's all about. I think that's alloud but not sure.
People are pretty nice here and really love this place but they will defend this place in a heartbeat when the rules are broken. We've had lots of spammers before trying to create trouble.
We have our wonderful Megan who works very hard to keep the bad out!
Katy, I like that title, but I'd add "queen" in there somewhere, too. Maybe - forum maintenance queen goddess? LOL
OP, we've been spammed on this site quite a bit, and often by people who have never posted here before then come and ask us to click a link. Even if that were not the case, though, as has already been stated, it's against forum rules to post links to other sb stores here. After all, they provide us with a FREE forum where we find lots of friends and inspiration, so we're pretty protective of that.
I think after all this time she deserves a trade in......Mop for a Wand that can command mops, maybe even turn spammers into mops..LOL ....just as long as it doesn't get out of hand Mickey Sorcerer Apprentice style!
I'm still just shocked people do this- I wonder, if they were to open a new craft store, if they would be surprised that Michaels and Joann's would NOT be willing to let them put signs in their windows to advertise? lol
I can see it- they approach the cashier, "Hi, I've opened a new craft store downtown, do you have any tape I can use to hang my signs in your window? What? Why can't I? That isn't fair! I'm just trying to let people know about my new store! It's in a safe part of town!"
Exacty Kory! A nice "Hello, i'm new new here, this is what I do may I post a link" post would have done wonders for her instead of popping in, advertising illegally and then getting a bit snippy when others got on her for breaking the rules.

Exactly!!! But it was more than the NERVE- it was also like, REALLY?! Have they ever posted on a board before? ASKING someone to delete their post?! Amazing.
Which say: Posting links to any external scrapbooking or craft site is prohibited. This includes online stores or sites of any kind related to scrapbooking and E-Bay or other auction sites. (Links and content of this nature should only be shared via email or Private Message).
So, it really doesn't matter if the original poster posted a legitimate link, spam, or otherwise,
Well I guess igbook (or whatever her name is) didn't like it here after all.. I see her "gallery" is GONE.. Oh well.. More fun for us "law" abiding citizens I guess.. LOL

The nerve of some people still amazes me...
Have a wonderful day!!!
I'm not so sure that was voluntary.
The Great and Powerful Megan may have had a hand (or mop) in that.
