Making craft vidoes

I enjoy watching people on youtube make videos of the crafts they do like scrappbooking, card making, copic colouring ect. I decided I was going to try my hand at making some videos of the crafts that I make. I uploaded them and have only gotten one subscriber and not that many views.

I was wondering if people could give me some advice on how they make there videos and advice on my youtube videos.

Wow! You are much braver than I am. I'm terrified of trying to edit videos and post them on youtube though someday I'd like to do it.
I especially liked that you put music behind the images. Very professional.
The problem with youtube or really any media on the internet is that everyone is vying for the same viewers that you are, and unless you know a lot of tricks with keywords (the more the better) hashtags, etc. youtube won't give your videos much of a spotlight. What I've learned with various blogs and ways of reaching out to the public is that asking people I know in real life to check my stuff out ( in your case watch, subscribe, and comment) is usually the best way to start. The more views you get, the more visible youtube will make you (it's sort of a catch 22 isn't it? You have to get views to become visible). I would try uploading one tutorial about techniques or whatever, then inviting as many facebook friends, real friends, co-workers acquaintances etc. to come watch it. Ask them directly for feedback, sometimes the more people feel like they are helping, the more active a fan of yours they become. Then once you've uploaded another video taking into account their suggestions you'll have more of a fan base, you'll have more material "out there" for people to see and link to your other material, and you'll have a bit more confidence. The other thing I would say is make sure your videos offer something that is unique so people will choose your video over the other tutorials. There are lots of marker videos out there, but tell people in the title why they will want to watch yours over everybody else's, then follow through with that unique tip. There are hundreds of tutorials online about how to get traffic to your stuff so you might want to read one of those. The basic rule of getting hits to any internet content is work, work and more work. The more you put out and link, the more views you get. The more views you get the more visible you become, and the more visible you become, the more visible you become, the more views you'll get. Just make sure you're doing it because you enjoy it!

CreativeCards - I think you've done a fantastic job on these videos! I'm afraid I don't have much advice to share - I've just recorded one video, and it isn't exactly a huge hit, LOL. I really think it's a combination of luck, persistence, and passion. (At least, I'm hoping... because if it's all about skill and inborn talent, my blog and YouTube channel just might be hopeless, LOL.) But I agree with everything the previous poster said. Work, work, work, and ask everyone you know to take a look. (That's the part I struggle with... I'm really bashful, and I hate "bothering people"... but I keep telling myself "there's no harm in asking".)
