Today, while working on a layout, I decided that I really wanted to add a rub-on word to my page. I didn't have the word ("for dinner") and didn't have individual letter rub-ons in the right size of font,so...
1). I printed "for dinner" on regular printer paper in the font and size I wanted.
2). I laid it over my page where I wanted it.
3). I put 6-8 pieces of plain paper under my LO to make a "padding."
4). I traced the words with pencil over my LO pressing REALLY hard.
5). I took off the printed page and held my LO in some bright light so I could see the indention of the word.
6). I took a marker and traced over the indentions...
Ta Da! Rub-On without spending money!
I'm sure others have thought of this, but thought I would share!
