I answered 1 and 2 based on how many times I use the computer, but I acutally leave it on all the time!
#3 I said other. I've been getting more and more interested in Computer Scrapping, so that's the first forum I check. I love the lack of mess! And it's faster, too.
#4 My husband is actually the one who does the calling and complaining, but refuses to switch ISP because this is the only cable internet company available in our neighborhood. There is another company which has been telling us for YEARS that they're "coming soon", but it's been so long that my husband probably wouldn't sign up with them if they gave service away for free!
lol, yep, I'm an addict. I actually have a backup dialup account just in case our wireless goes down. But it's not my fault that my entire social existence is on the computer :P
My occupation is so computer-oriented (I'm a 3D artist/animator in the marketing department of a large office furniture manufacturer), that scrapbooking is a nice chance to NOT look at a monitor. I don't even have a printer hooked up to my home computer. That being said, I love to browse this board from both work and home! *grin* Making scrapbook stuff on a computer would seem like work (like doing another brochure layout), but browsing is just fun! Meanwhile, doing paper scrapping is a chance to be creative away from the computer. It's refreshing!
this is another good one, Pam! ok i hope i type in my answers correctly this time.
1.) i turn on my puter first thing in the am (before anything else) 2.) i check my email less than 5 times and once i turn on the computer, it's NOT turned off 'til midnight (i check my email twice max, i'm here almost all of the time) 3.) i go to community then to MY HOME 4.) i'll call my ISP and complain until it's fixed 5.) um, very insanely important NOW (can't afford to be "awol" right now 'coz i'm hosting a swap)
lol.. 1) First thing I do....usually even still in my night clothes and not even went potty. 2.)At least 20. 3.)Community 4.)I Put call and complain once.......but I bet I'd do more lolol 5.) Important. All my friends are on here. I don't have many that live close enough to hang out.
I leave my computer on all the time, so I didn't answer #1. (It's actually easier on your computer to leave it on all the time....powering it up & down is hard on it).
I'm at a computer all day at work, so I check in here at sb.com throughout the day. I only log on maybe once or twice at night from home, though.
If my cable modem went down, I'd call and complain. But I would never consider switching. The company I work for pays for it the way it is right now (so that I can work from home if necessary). There's nothing like getting a high-speed internet connection for FREE.
