I made a scrapbook for my scraps!!

I have a Huge 3 ring binder...in it I have ziplock bags...the ez zip kind....I used a 3 hole punch on the bag...the side without the zipper part....and put those little sticky white reinforcement holes around the holes....to reinforce them....in each bag I place my scraps...I sort them by color....I have a tabbed divider between each color so it would go like this..................RED.... (ziplock bag with red paper scraps); (ziplock bag with red cardstock scraps); (ziplock bag with red felt scraps); (ziplock bag with red ribbon scraps)....you get the idea...........

I sort my scraps in expandable accordian file folders. I have one for solid cardstock and one for patterned paper, and in each one I sort the paper according to ROYGBV colors.

good ideas I just have all my scraps put together but it would be nice to seperate it, one more thing right?

Thanks for sharing this idea. It is such a pain to dig thru my "all together" scraps that I hardy use them! Just grab a new piece. Liz

I have a similar thing in a binder, but I use those clear sleeves you put paper in... I'm drawing a blank on what they are called... page protectors? Anyway, it works well... I also have paper Trays that I kind of sort by before I put them in the binders.....

This sounds cool! The ziplocks keep it "closed" so they won't fall out! I keep my scraps elsewhere, but this would be great for the snippets of ribbons and stuff!

I use a portable file box to store my scraps in. It holds hanging file folders. I have them sorted by color. It closes up nice and has a handle for moving around with me. Works great. Holds a ton of scraps for me

I have SO many scraps! I have a five drawer file cabinet w/ hanging file folders to keep all of my scraps color coded....One benefit of turning my office into a scrapbook room...

Now you know why I'm MsAngelasScraps!

I wish somebody would have a scrap swap!

Is the binder 12x12? If not, what do you do with your scraps that are 12"?

no...the binder isn't 12x12...actually, none of my scraps are 12x12 after I am finished with them

Well I do have my scraps in ziplock type bags but never though of putting those in a binder. TFS!

the binder idea with the ziplocks is great. i'm going to start this right away.
