I made this for a friend who had to have her hand amputated due to an injury suffered about 19 years ago. She mentioned that she would love to have a keepsake sscrapbook of her little daughter, now 3 years old. I made one LO of Maya last year before her mom's surgery. I hope her mom and I can scrapbook some LOs together to make it more personal for her and Maya. I have purchased a scrapbook and will be making 2 more LOs soon and will complete the album over time as Maya grows up. I will surprise her mom with the album soon, after the first 4 LOs are finished.
I did some inking, ripping & punching. I made the deco corner last year and got tired of saving it - LOL. The little butterfly and doily are from the Dollarama. The title was done with my gel pens. Ribbons, gems, envelope, foam hearts, lace and flowers are from my stash. The doily and pic are mounted on self-adhesive foam strips. YES, I GOT CARRIED AWAY WITH THE FLOWERS. Mrs. Bean will tell me, "Remember, less is more".... she's probably right, but it has been so long since I could scrapbook that I just lost it and went crazy. Thank you, Mrs. Bean, for the lovely large pink flower and checkered pink & white ribbon. TFL
