JFF...POD...Miner's Lettuce...

5-4-10...Continuing with my area's plant life...found this one in the yard. It's called Miner's Lettuce...the California Gold Rush miners discovered the leaves to be very tasty for making a salad, hence the name. *Last month I posted a shot of tiny, white bell-shaped flowers...mini challenge, "Abundant"...those little flowers belong to this plant. [P5049474]
