As a newcomer to the world of scrapbooking, I've been challenging myself to include at least one new product or technique which each subsequent page that I design. For this LO I had an absolute blast using a laser cut piece of (KI Memories) paper star patterned paper as a stamping template for my background.
These shots hail from my 8th birthday (believe it or not, I was about three months older than my friend, I was just very short as a child). I opted for colours that instantly called to mind the late 80s/early 90s years when the lovely gal (Talia) in this photo with me and I were best friends. Bright, careful, vaguely neon hues that call to mind everything from jelly sandals to slap bracelets, scrunch socks and curly ribbon clustered barrettes and in this pair of photos, Talia's vibrant star print t-shirt, which was the inspiration for this page design.

~ Heartfelt thanks for checking my page out. Any questions about this LO, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a blissfully creative day! ~
