Give a Cheer
Made all from scraps.
I used a new toy given to me by my Mom-in-law. Its a hand held sewing machine. I thought I'd give it a try, its okay but since its small it doesn't allow you to get into the middle of the page, it would work for embellishments and matting I guess, but I wasn't able to do more than the edges of the layout, so I went back in with DMC floss and added some stitches inside the page.
My husband is a pretty funny guy and its kinda hard to get him to take a serious or "nice" pic without a funny face, so I wanted to use this large pic of his gorgeous face on a page - and his favorite color is green, so this page came together nicely.

The first thing I noticed about John was his gorgeous blue eyes. But what really grabbed me was his sense of humor.
