This was created with the amazing design sketch by Suepup over at Scraps O f Darkness. Oh such design talent.
Gotta tell you how I came to possess a photo of an actual Moroccan Palace.
As a brand new member of the Design Team at Scraps of Darkness (yippee), I had a sneak peak of the kit papers for the month of July. I knew they were of a Moroccan feel and theme so I went through my stuff looking for appropriate photos. No luck. I emailed a belly dancer from the internet….no response. My dad was stationed in the Middle East while in the Navy, but he could not find his photos. Dratts and darn.
In the mean time, husband and I attended a July 4th picnic. I got to chatting with a couple I had just met. Small talk about the weather, potato salad recipe, that kind of conversation. Very warm and friendly folks.
Then the lady says she attended a wedding in Morocco. HEAD SNAP……wha???? Morocco? You don't say. And tell me how that was? Did you take lots of photos? Course now she has my full attention.
By the time the hot dogs were roasted, I had convinced my new BFF that I must have those photos. Need them, must scrap them.
And the very nice couple, Valerie and Alex H. proceeded to send me more photos than I could even hope to have. Thanks pals! I so appreciate this.
That's how I came to possess a photo of an actual Moroccan Palace and so much more.
Dusty Attic column was fun to use and the Creative Imaginations -Christine Adolph paper line was gorgeous. The Heartfelt Creations - Bella Rose Die cut and stamp set is wonderful too.
This was designed using the July Scraps of Darkness Kit. Just a whole lot of gorgeous scrappy fun packed in that kit!
Thanks for looking.
