Photo of my daughter and her son. I used Cosmo Cricket Social Club collection for this layout. I cut the top scallop from the design on the paper, then added a strip of large red dots. I used a piece of scrap red/white small polka dot paper (Crate paper I believe) to join the two papers. The photo is mated with red card stock. The circles at the bottom were punched from one side of the ppr and raised with pop dots. I used a Fiskars border punch for the bottom border. The circles are 1 1/8 inch circles punched from the ppr. I stamped a quote on the bottom left side that says "One's destination is never a a place but a new way of seeing things." - stamp from Technique Tuesday. The dandelions are from Papertrey ink stamps. The airplane is also from TT and the trail is a Papertrey Ink stamp. I used rub-ons for the small letters in the title, and the big letters are foam letters that I colored with Copics. Quite a bit of doodling (faux stitching around the top and bottom border and red lines around the layout). The black border was added in photoshop to keep the edges from fading away. Journaling is tucked behind the photo with the red polka-dotted tag and reads:
Traci and Jacob at the Jay Peanut Festival in October 2007. It seems that all little boys are fascinated with tractors and every year when we go up to the festival to get our peanuts, Jacob wants to climb on every tractor on display. So…if he could drive this thing…I’m sure he would “take you for a ride on his big green tractor”!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Thanks for spreading positivity!
