I think it looks kinda cool - it reminds me of a wood slat fence that you might see along the far edge of a beach. I kind of wish the journaling was on a tag or something instead of just on the background paper, but this is a nice LO.

You're on a roll with the strips! I see why you didn't want to use toooo much of the patterned paper together, but breaking it up this way worked out well!
