A LO I finished this morning for my little brother Mark's 28th Birthday in 2006. I made the cake using only a single layer and rolled fondant. The 'pizza sauce' is actually seedless strawberry jam. The kids had such a great time trying to help Mark blow out the sparklers on the cake. The pictures aren't the best quality because the were taken on my old Canon camera and it was only a 2MP.

The pps are from two different digital scrapkits one kit can be dl'd for free at http://freedigitalscrapbooking.com/gallery/1009/may-2011-club-kit-challenge/ . I printed off the papers that I wanted from the first kit and from the second, with the text, I recreated in Word and printed off on my printer. The flourish is from the first pack and I cut it out by hand and added my own buttons.

I finally got the chalkboard paper to stick to the other paper by using the ATG (this has been a major source of frustration for me). To write on the chalkboard paper I used a 'Dri Mark Black Mark-It' white marker. I called the company last week to ensure that it was acid-free. This paper has been a major hassle from the beginning - real chalk won't stick to it and crayons don't look that great on it (IMHO). I designed and cut the little tags on my Cricut using SCAL2 - TFL
