Journaling: The Oaks Historic District, better known as Old Town, is full of beautiful homes that were built around the turn of the 20the century during the heyday of the oil boom. As a way to celebrate Beaumonts history and to draw the communitys interest in these homes, the McFaddin Ward House, hold a Preservation Bash each year. Beaumont, TX April 14, 2012
