Give a Cheer
Sometimes a quote on a layout says more than paragraphs of journaling. I wanted this darling photo to be emphasized but the white on black quote competed because it's so strong. I added the chevron print border with lines pointing toward the photo, then spritzed the white stripes with yellow Copic ink to tone them down. The banner implies celebration and awards perfect for the super heroes in my life. The narrow red and white border across the page came from the manufacturer information section I trimmed off of the bottom edge of the chevron paper.
