This is for the Rockin' Scrappin' Grans Challenge. We were to do a layout of our mom. Pictures of my mother are scarce but I found this one of her which I believe was taken in the late 30's or very early 40's. Not the most flattering photo of this beautiful woman! Thank you for looking and comments!
Journaling says: You were the one who gave me life, and taught me to pray.
You always sent me cards and letters to say how much
you cared. You did so much for me and my family.
I only wish you had lived to see your grandchildren grow
up and have families of their own. They will never forget their
Nanny and Poppie. You would be so proud of them Mom.
You and I shared so many special times and talks and had
many laughs. No one had a belly laugh quite like you mom.
No one could dance as beautifully as you! You were such
a generous compassionate and caring person.

You left my life way to soon. I wish I had done a better job
at expressing my love to you. I was so blessed to have you, Mom.
