This layout was inspired by Jill Sprott's challenge on the October Afternoon blog to use the title of a patterned paper as the title for your layout – and then to also use that paper on your layout, too. (see here: http://octoberafternoon.typepad.com/october_afternoon/2012/08/monday-challenge-let-your-paper-inspire-your-title-.html) [octoberafternoon.typepad.com]As I was looking through all of my OA paper and actually reading the names of each one, as soon as I saw “Buttercream” I immediately thought of Lady Bon-Bon's fat, rolly thighs.I used the Buttercream patterned paper from the Cakewalk collection as the background on the left hand side of the layout, and a yellow paper from Ducks in a Row on the right. I also used the Buttercream pattern from the 8*8 Cakewalk pad to punch out lots of little round confettis for the page.In the end, I think buttercream is a much nicer name for a layout about Lady Bon-Bon's generous thighs. She will hate me much less when she is older, than if I had called it “fat rolly-polly thighs”.
