I finished this little accordian fold album this weekend. :) This is the first mini album I've ever made… and now I understand why some people seem to be addicted to making them. It was a fun project to work on :) The tags pull out so the journalling can be read. The transparency photo sleeves from Me and My Big Ideas that I used in this album are so neat! <br><br>I made this album for Summer Lily… I always say “you are precious to me” so decided to make that the theme of this album. I used transparency photo sleeves from Me and My Big Ideas for the photos in the album, the transparencies kind of act like page protectors, so the photos are a bit more protected than if they weren't under a transparency. The back page is 4*6 and the rest of the pages are 4*4.. I wanted the extra 2 inches to stick out past all of the other pages, I think it adds a kind of interesting continuity to the album. I included a small jewellery tag with a painted and embellished heart on each page because I almost always draw a little heart somewhere on my pages and Summer Lily has told me that she really likes that, so thought I'd put a few in the album just for her. <br><br>All papers, transparency photo sleeves, woven labels, woven threads and soft spoken embellishments are from Me and My Big Ideas. Scrapworks spiral clips. Making Memories mini brads, jump rings. Pebbles Inc. faux postage stickers, twist tie. <br><br>tfl!<br>Ashley.
