Finally getting around to sharing a few photos. My dh started this project of turning our old upstairs sunporch into a small scraproom for me in October of 2007. With doing all the work himself except installing the countertop, it took 13 months exactly. He finished just this past November (2008).It's not a huge space, but perfect for me. :)(Photos 1) After I moved in!(Photo 2-4)You can see that he basically gutted it and started from scratch.(Photos 5-8) shows progress in putting up the walls. There is insulation in there and the room is heated and air conditioned along with the rest of the house.(Photos 9-10) the cork flooring is installed. (Photo 11) just to show you what the left side of the room looks like. Most of my photos are taken showing the right side as it progressed. And I love the look of the Magnolia tree just right outside my windows. Everyone who comes in says it feels like they are in a tree house!(Photo 12) One of the pendant lights(Photo 13) The countertop installed. It runs along all three walls. (Photo 14-15) I love my drawers that have a compartment underneath the upper section. The upper tray rolls back!(Photo 16-17) Paper storage in vertical cropper hopper storage on a pull-out tray(Photo 18) My Thicker drawer! The drawer above is all alphabet stickers (I am an alpha addict!!)(Photo 19) One of my tool drawers. It's right above paper storage.TFL!!
