Using a Shabby Princess kit and Georgia font. Made in Photoshop CS. <br><br>Journaling reads: I‘ve never been one of those mothers who loves to breastfeed. I tolerate it, at best. I love the bonding and the closeness that comes with it (and of course the health benefits), but everything else I don’t like. It’s funny then, that I’ve hung on so long with Griffin (5 1/2 months as of right now), because he does not like dairy products. I mean, he will fuss, have gas, refuse to sleep if I have any dairy at all. To save my sanity and his poor tummy, I’ve stopped eating anything dairy. It’s a struggle. Cheese is my favorite food in the world after chocolate. I admit to cheating every once in a while, but then I feel so bad for him. Here I have the perfect excuse to wean him, yet, somehow I carry on. Somehow I keep doing it. I'm finding that is what motherhood is all about: sacrifce out of love.Photo taken Jan 10, 2006.
