The flower petals are hand torn from watercolor paper, painted with H2Os using a water brush, then glued to a 2" circle. Once all petals are in place I add a second circle on top. The flower is then added to prepared card base and the ‘excess’ flower is trimmed away with scissors. The petals are them lifted and pulled slightly to curl & raise them, adding dimension.Here's a tip…I found it easier and the ‘tear’ more consistent if I tear what looks kind of like a figure eight (two petals at once). You can use them that way or tear them apart when applying them to the center.
