Journaling: We have now had 3 children and each time labor and delivery is over, Jason rests his hand on my head. For a while, actually. It's been the same resting touch with each child. Does he know he does the exact same thing after each delivery? I don't think so. But I know what his touch says: "Good job, honey. Wow. You're tough. We did it. 10 fingers...10 toes...check. I'm glad it's over. Beautiful baby. Thank you. I love you." I remember and can recall the loving, gentle touch of my husband's hand through each childbirth. Will he ever know just how much his touch means to me? It's comforting, it makes all things possible, it's my cheerleader, my rock, my back-up, my strength. I need it every day, I need it from him and him only. It tells me he loves me. It tells me he needs me. It makes me feel complete.
HS flowers, misc ribbons, edited SR pp, HS chipboard letters.
