After leaving the cell we went to the other side of the wall and saw the little square opening where they passed the prisoner's food to them. She told us that they were only fed once a week!
Denise, our guide also told us that the areas where we had been were reported to be haunted.
We are so glad there were only 3 of us so we could have such a detailed and personalized tour! So many behind-the-scenes to see that the guests on the regular tours don't get to see because the groups are too large.
Not in journaling - in the middle row there is a picture with a table. The small square in the wall over the table is where the food was passed from this room into the jail cell. I didn't get any pictures inside the jail cell because our guide had our cameras. One each side of the table are windows with bars. We were inside the cell looking out at this room when she took our pictures.
I really think my guest bathroom is larger than that jail was. It was almost totally black on the stairs going to the jail cell.
