Hi Friends, I'm sharing a playful mini coin envelope album that I created for my dear friend Lorna. I was really challenged with the construction of this little album as each coin pocket (front side) has a journaling tag and belly band and holds a double sided tag for photos or journaling; then when you turn the page it has a 'flip up' photo and journaling tag pocket on the backside; then the same page 'flips out' to hold more photos on the inside. All of this clever function, per page is created using only one cardstock paper per page! While I can't take credit for this unique design, (see Lisa Black's Coin Envelope Mini Album on YT for directions), it did take me a few tries to get the hang of it. To pull all the coin pockets together I modified the coin pockets (left the bottoms open) and used the hidden hinge binding method. I had a lot of fun decorating this album and really enjoyed the fresh spring colors of this the paper pack from Recollections.
