Give a Cheer
For this mixed media canvas, I fussy cut out a large dragonfly, adding him to the top of a flower cluster. To add to the magical feel of this project, I added two types of iridescent shineOpal Magic Paint and Metallic Pastel Accents watercolors.
The wings of the dragonfly, ephemera, moulds, flowers and canvas all got a dose of shimmery, iridescent paint. When the light hits it just right, its almost like the dragonfly has taken flight.
