Give a Cheer
If you saw my previous card, you'll spot this cutie is from the same stamp set, but I took a different approach to this design. I have masses of Washi Tape in my stash and really wanted to pull some out for a play, so built the card design around these. I chose a few that I thought might work well together and settled on these three. The gold foil and gold glitter tape add a bit of pizzazz to this fun design. I used a cool stamp set from Whimsy called Distressed Backgrounds and Ink Splats to add some interest to the background. I wanted it to look like our fabulous flamingo had possibly walked in a muddy puddle and love the way the finished card looks. I matted the image panel on Gina K Black Cardstock and then added it to a top folding A2 card base. I paired it like the last card, with a Bubblegum Pink Envelope from Gina K. I really like her envelopes and the latest ones have a sticky strip now, rather than the lick and stick they used to have, which is great.
