I've created a lovely card for my mum to give to her bestie who recently returned from a trip back home to her native Scotland. Mum wanted me to include a hat tip to that and I managed to find a little tartan bow in my stash which satisfied that request. I used Brutus Monroe Aqua Pigment Paper as the base of my design, stamped the beautiful Gina K Kindness Matters Wreath in Black VersaFine Clair Ink and then clear heat embossed afterwards. I had some new inks in my stash in some lovely desaturated colours, which I used to water colour the wreath. I smooshed the inks onto a palette and painted them onto the image with a waterbrush. I splattered the panel after it was coloured with some gold and silver watercolour ink from Brutus Monroe. I looped some silver thread into a bundle and added that behind the foiled and diecut sentiment which is from a pre-foiled sentiment pack by Pinkfresh Studio. I don't have a hot-foil machine, so enjoy using these pre-foiled sentiments occasionally. I trimmed the panel with my Tim Holtz Deckle Edge Trimmer and then mounted it onto a top folded card base which I made from Gina K Cardstock in the lovely Plum Punch colour. To finish, I paired the card with a Soft Stone envelope also from Gina K. Happily, Mum and her bestie both loved it!
Thanks for spreading positivity!
