Since these photos were taken at Dollywood I wanted the layout to be Dolly Parton themed but not obvious. Since one of Dolly's symbols is a butterfly I used butterfly papers and die cuts. The title is from a Dolly Parton song.

I cut 2 4 inch rectangles from the butterfly paper, flipped one to the green side, then cut them on the diagonal using a paper cutter. If you don't flip the rectangles before cutting triangles end up with the patter upside down. After attaching the triangles to a white base I used a thin, teal washi tape to make the borders. Since I didn't have enough butterfly paper for the second double page I used a similarly colored, playful paper to connect the pages, also cutting in half on the diagonal. All photos were trimmed then matted on colors taken from the butterfly cardstock. I cut some into circles to add variety and interest. I made the butterfly die cuts with cricut and resized some to make it more interesting. The title was also made using cricut and placed in a way to echo the circular photos. I used black for the butterflies and title so make them stand out and ground the layout. A journaling square was written using cricut, trimmed and matted before attaching on the second page.
