I was watching VianneyCreates on You Tube. Her work is fabulous, and the videos are fun to watch and a learning experience. She went through how to make the card and made one while explaining. I was so excited about this card, I made one myself.
Card is 6 x 6 inches made with white cardstock and matted with mirror gold, blue glitter card and Watercolor Waves Cardstock by Crafters Companion. The center picture is from Hunkydory Whopper Topper Pad "Painted".
A brief Description: I started with the 6x6 white card and cut all but about 1/2 to 3/4 inch at the crease. I trimmed away the center (about 1 inch) so that I had two tabs at the top of my card.
I cut gold mirror card, blue glitter card and the Watercolor Waves card and layered four. I paid attention to the pattern so that I could put it back together when I attached them to my card.
I attached the top two squares to the two tabs. Then I attached the center picture to the two top squares. (I left the two bottom squares in place on my card so that I could get everything even. Then I attached the two bottom squares to the center picture.
Inside: I matted the inside of my card with gold mirror and blue glitter. I cut the Watercolor Waves card into three pieces (I cut the center piece to be wider than the other two). I mounted them onto the glitter card.
I cut a piece of white card the same size as the center and mounted it inside my card to provide a place to write. The Watercolor Waves card has slick finish, it's shiny. I had a circle sentiment which I matted with gold mirror (scallop cut it) and blue glitter and added it to the inside on the white card. I added an additional strip sentiment on the inside also.
